BACKGROUND CHECKS MUST BE PERFORMED ON ALL YOUTH SPORTS VOLUNTEERS

The State of Florida passed amended legislation several years ago which requires all adults wishing to interact as volunteers in youth sports programs to undergo a Level 2 criminal background check through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE). 

In this section of the website, you will find the FLDE website where individuals are permitted to complete the background check online, the state law and requirements as written and a PDF-formatted background check form.
